BTEC Sport Students Enjoy Off-Campus Learning

Monday, 12 September, 2016

On Monday 12 September, the IBCP BTEC sport students spent the day at the Olympic Stadium. Half of the group visited the sports medicine clinic and took part in a cycle ergonometry fitness test and a treadmill test measuring oxygen update and aerobic capacity. The other students enjoyed the fantastic weather and went Stand Up Paddling (SUP) on the Wannsee.

After lunch at the Tiroler Bauenstuden the group enjoyed a tour of the Olympic Stadium, sitting in the VIP box, seeing the changing room and underground, as well as the 100m running track. They held a mock press conference and enjoyed the view from the top of the Glockenturm.

Thanks to Ms Johnson and Mr Wilson for organising and accompanying the excursion.
