The BBIS campus is located in the village of Kleinmachnow, just to the southwest of Berlin, on nearly 400,000 square metres (100 acres) of forested land, on the shore of the Machnower See and the Teltowkanal. The site, called the Seeberg, is very quiet, away from traffic and congestion, crisscrossed with peaceful foot and bicycle paths. Nearby is the Hakeburg, a castle rebuilt at the turn of the 20th century on the ruins of a medieval fortress.

The school is only a few minutes drive from the residential areas of southwest Berlin and the Brandenburg suburbs, and within short driving distance of Potsdam. It can be reached by car and public transport from Berlin and Potsdam.

How to reach the school by car:

From Berlin or Potsdam (via Autobahn)
- Take Autobahn A 115 from Berlin towards Potsdam, Leipzig and Magdeburg or from Potsdam towards Berlin.
-Take exit 5 to Kleinmachnow: follow the directions to Kleinmachnow-Zentrum.
- At the traffic light in the village, drive straight to Hohe Kiefer.
- At the next traffic light, turn right into Förster-Funke-Allee.
- Again at the next traffic light, turn right into Karl-Marx-Straße.
-Turn right at the BBIS signpost, drive up the hill, and follow the signs to BBIS Car
Park A.

From Berlin-Zehlendorf
- Drive through the centre of Zehlendorf from Clayallee along Teltower Damm (high street).
- After the S-Bahn bridge, turn right into Machnower Straße.
- Follow Machnower Straße/Zehlendorfer Damm straight through into Kleinmachnow.
- At the Hakeburg, turn sharp right into Karl-Marx-Straße.
-Turn left at the BBIS signpost, drive up the hill, and follow the signs to BBIS Car Park A

How to reach the school by public transport:

- Take the S-Bahn S1 from Berlin or from Potsdam to the Mexikoplatz station or take the U-Bahn U3 from Berlin to the Krumme Lake station.
- Take a No. 629 bus (direction Teltow) to the Kleinmachnow Hakeburg bus stop.
- On leaving the bus, walk back about 70 metres, then turn left at the BBIS signpost.
- Walk straight to the top of the hill and register at the BBIS reception.

- Take the S-Bahn S7 from Berlin to the Wannsee station.
- Take a No. 620 bus (direction Teltow, Ruhlsdorf) to the Kleinmachnow Hakeburg bus stop.
- On leaving the bus, walk back about 70 metres, then turn left at the BBIS signpost.
- Walk straight to the top of the hill and register at the BBIS reception.
