PTA Application Form

The BBIS PTA is an organization made up of parents, teachers and staff members who volunteer their time and talents throughout the school year to help:

• ENRICH the educational experiences of BBIS students
• Bring HOME and SCHOOL closer together
• FOSTER school spirit and cooperation among the school community

What are the functions of PTA?

• Provide support to teachers and staff through GRANTS awarded 2 times per year
• WELCOME new families to BBIS
• ORGANIZE events for the entire school community: Coffee mornings, Gala, Holiday Bazaar, Cultural Programs and Sommerfest are just a few examples
• RAISE FUNDS to support various school activities and purchase special supplies and equipment
• ENCOURAGE participation through Sports Boosters, International Week and Staff appreciation

How can I become involved?

• READ the Kaleidoscope to get details about all PTA activities
• ATTEND open PTA meetings: Dates are announced in the Kaleidoscope
• VOLUNTEER to help in your special area of interest: Please contact any member of the executive committee
• CONSIDER becoming a member of the executive board
• SHARE your good ideas contact any member of the executive committee
