Extracurricular Activities

BBIS is a fast growing international school that is committed to providing an inclusive after school programme for students of all ages. Our programme changes from term to term, with some activities continuing, whilst others stop and new ones begin. We aim to provide our students with a balanced and varied programme throughout the year. BBIS staff members and external instructors offer their time to the programme, enabling us to constantly expand and adapt to the growing needs of our student body.

It is our goal to stimulate and encourage all students to participate in after school activities. Our fun extracurricular activities, offered in a positive environment help students develop holistically as a well-rounded people.

Only by trying new activities will our students learn the truth of that sentiment. Each term, a wide range of activities are offered and we strongly encourage our students to make use of that variety. This gives them the chance to have fun while meeting new friends, sharing and developing passions, integrating into our international community and meeting people from other cultures.

The extracurricular activities take place in the afternoons, usually Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or, in some cases, at lunchtime. Activities like sports, art, drama and music might have weekend activities as well.

We are always striving to improve and best cater to our growing student and staff community here at BBIS and would welcome suggestions for the after school programme.

I firmly believe that there is more in us than we think and providing these opportunities for the students and staff is essential to promote being life long learners here at BBIS.
