What is the PYP Exhibition?

Monday, 25 July, 2016

Call it coincidence, but on the day of this year's IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition we also undertook a photo shoot for the school's new website.

What does this mean? It means we captured exceptional photos of our 5th Graders presenting their Exhibition to the rest of the Primary School, family and the friends from across BBIS.

This Exhibition of Student learning, represents the culmination of who our students are as learners and demonstrates what they achieved in all areas of the Primary Years Programme.. Held in May of each year, it is the last major milestone before 5th grade leave to 6th grade and undertake the IB's Middle Years Programme. Students are grouped to both collaborative and independently work on a given theme which this year was ‘Individuals who have made significant contributions to our world’. They represent their Inquiry using a host of different media from presentations, to art, dance and music, and using many different resources.

It is easily one of my most favorite days of the year.
