Wondering about the World

Thursday, 19 January, 2017

Over the past few weeks, our Grade 6 Humanities students have been learning all about research and what it actually means to be researchers. Based on their own passions, students developed their own research questions for a topic they were curious about, found and annotated texts on the topic and finally decided on the best way to present and display their findings.

Their final Exhibition this week covered a wide range of themes and presentation styles, and the topics ranged from the question whether Shyness is a condition or a choice to Windpower or Antimatter. The appropriate name for their work was ‘Wonder Project’, as all students started their project by saying: I wonder …  It was great to see how much effort the students put into their individual presentations.
