BBIS Berlin Brandenburg International School is an independently run, state-approved, inclusive, English-medium day and boarding school serving the internationally-minded community of Germany’s capital region and beyond. As one of the world’s leading International Baccalaureate (IB) schools, BBIS proudly offers three IB programmes in the Primary, Middle and Diploma years of schooling. Job Description
- Organization and supervision of personnel processing from A-Z
- Responsibility for personnel planning
- Advising and supporting managers and employees in all personnel matters
- Organization and supervision of individual personnel measures
- Ensuring the entire recruitment process
- Ensuring, monitoring and controlling proper payroll accounting and special payments
- Preparation and monitoring of the personnel budget
- Compliance with current labor legislation as well as applicable company agreements and the in-house pay scale
- Trustful cooperation with the works council
- Preparation and drafting of works agreements including participation in negotiations, conciliation boards and labor court hearings
- Cooperation with the lawyers of BBIS
- Preparation of personnel policy principles and concepts
- Conceptual processing of wage issues
- Personnel reporting
- Administration of the personnel database
- Digitalisation of various processes
- Personnel development
Your Profile
- A successfully completed degree in business administration or law with a focus on human resources or commercial or comparable training with appropriate further training
- Several years of professional and management experience desirable
- Strategic thinking and HR expertise
- Authentic and convincing appearance
- Communication skills including decision-making ability
- Emphatic and enthusiastic leadership personality
- Proactive, innovative and solution-oriented
- Very good English skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and other common systems
- Conscientious, team-oriented and analytical way of working
