BBIS Berlin Brandenburg International School is an independently run, state-approved, inclusive, English-medium day and boarding school serving the internationally-minded community of Germany’s capital region and beyond. As one of the world’s leading International Baccalaureate (IB) schools, BBIS proudly offers three IB programmes in the Primary, Middle and Diploma years of schooling. In the current school year 2021/22 our school teaches about 760 students who represent more than 60 nationalities.

BBIS has an opening for an IT Technician (Data Systems Manager) (f/m/d).

The IT-Technician is responsible for the set-up, data-input, data transfer and running of IT data system applications, including but not limited to Open Apply, iSAMS, ManageBac, Hubspot, Google, SchoolCloud, SAP.

Job Description
  • Manage applications, including user management, ID management, access management, year-end roll over, synchronization of data between systems
  • Provide training and guidance for users
  • Respond to application-related service requests from users
  • Develop proposals for further application use and deployment
  • Support the school in achieving its mission, and technology vision and strategic objectives

The IT Technician reports to the Head of IT.

  • Very good knowledge of current hardware and software as well as standard software programs and resources
  • Highly competent in English (written and spoken)
