BBIS GmbH is an independently run, state-approved, inclusive, English-medium day and boarding school serving the internationally-minded community of Germany’s capital region and beyond. We are the first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School to be fully authorized by the IB organization to teach all four IB programmes covering the 3 to 19 age range. In the current school year 2019/20 our school teaches about 750 students who represent more than 60 nationalities.

     Job Description      Your Profile
  • Operation and further development of our system and application landscape with focus on Windows and Apple OS
  • Administration of our high-availability Microsoft Windows Server environment (versions 2012 and 2016, virtualized on the basis of HyperV)
  • OS, software deployment and patch management for Windows client and server
  • Backup and recovery based on Veeam
  • Support of Windows applications, analysis and troubleshooting
  • Account Lifecycle Management with AD as leading system
  • Active cooperation in the continuous further development of our systems under the aspects of availability, security and performance
  • Planning and implementation of new requirements within the scope of IT projects
  • All this with a view beyond our other platforms macOS, iOS, ChromeOS, Linux and Google G-Suite
  • Support of our users in German and English language
    • You have successfully completed training in the IT sector and ideally have already been able to apply your knowledge successfully in practice
    • You are characterized by a high solution orientation and can design well thought-out concepts
    • Initiative and independent work are your strengths
    • You enjoy working in a small team
    • You have a good command of written and spoken English
    • Apple and Windows certificates would be more advantageous systems from the point of view of availability, security and performance
