I am a Brit who came to Berlin in 1992 as a university student and then worked in commerce for a while before going to teach English in Japan, German in the UK and back to Berlin for business.

What inspires you in your professional role?

When I learn something new from a student in one of my classes or a student writes an amazing essay demonstrating what they have learnt.

What are you passionate about?

Girls learning maths or finance - because girls learn differently but are often written off at high school age when it comes to these subjects. Generally having more strong independent women as business role models.
