Over the last two months, the BBIS track and field team has worked towards the last GISST tournament of the school year. During our practices, we have had an average of 30 students coming to each training session, which has been amazing. The circumstances of the sessions were not always easy due to the hot weather. On Wednesday the 30th of May, Ms. Mohammed-King took a team of very able and excited MYP students with some supporters to attend the 2018 Geography Bee quiz competition at Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS). After arriving they got set up and the quiz began. BBIS held their own and were in a close second place until the final round where the hosts took off and were clear victors. ... and after having to complete CAS! One of our graduates is taking a gap year as a volunteer in Ghana where she is spending several weeks teaching English at a girls school in a remote area. Clearly, she will remember this experience for the rest of her life. The stark difference to life at BBIS as a student and this poverty stricken school are unfathomable for most of us here on the Seeberg. This graduate now wants to do even more. She wants to take action and help the Ghanaian students... Read More

The Yearbook 2017-2018 will soon be available during SummerFest on June 9th from 11.00–15.00. Starting Monday, June 11th through Wednesday, June 21st it can be bought in Room 3330 in House 3, Level 3. The students participating the Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Award successfully completed their practice expedition in the Boehmische Schweiz region of Czechia last weekend. They walked over 20 km every day in rugged terrain, but did get to enjoy some excellent camp fires with marshmallows in the evenings!
