BIMP 2026/27

The Berlin International Music Project (BIMP) brings together students, teachers and families through the shared joy of making music. Since 2010, this annual event has celebrated international friendship, creativity and collaboration, demonstrating the unique power of music to connect people across cultures.

BBIS is proud to once again host BIMP and welcome young musicians from Berlin, Brandenburg and beyond for a weekend of rehearsals, performances and new friendships.

From 27-29 November 2026, students will spend two days rehearsing and performing together before culminating in the BIMP Gala Concert – a vibrant celebration of music and community. Choirs, orchestras, bands and samba ensembles come together on stage to showcase what can be achieved through collaboration, dedication and a shared passion for performance.

Families, friends and members of the wider community are warmly invited to join us for this special event and experience the energy, pride and joy of hundreds of young musicians performing side by side. More than a concert, the Gala Concert captures the true spirit of BIMP: connection, collaboration and celebration through music.

WHAT IS BIMP

The Berlin International Music Project (BIMP) was founded in 2010 with a simple but powerful goal: to create a community weekend of music-making, culminating in a high-quality Gala Concert. Over the years, it has become a joyful tradition that unites schools in a spirit of collaboration and creativity.

WHY PARTICIPATE

BIMP is more than just a concert. It’s an intensive and fun music-making experience where students connect with singers, instrumentalists, and composers from around the world. The friendships formed, the pride of performance, and the shared joy of music make this project truly unforgettable.
