BBIS Welcomes Beth Dressler as New Director

BBIS Berlin Brandenburg International School is pleased to announce the appointment of Beth Dressler as our new Director/CEO. This marks an important moment in BBIS history as she becomes the first woman to hold this role.

Working alongside our leadership team, Beth will guide our international community into the future, with a strong focus on the strategic priorities of Inclusion, Innovation, Action, and the continued development of our systems and structures.

Beth is already well known to many families, having served as our Primary School Principal for the past three years. Beth is passionate about nurturing student agency and fostering a sense of belonging in every learner. She brings a wealth of experience from her work in independent and international schools across Thailand, the United States, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Germany.

For the past twenty years, she has dedicated her career to International Baccalaureate education as a long-standing IB Primary Years Programme workshop leader, consultant and visiting team leader.

Beth holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Michigan State University, a Certificate of Educational Technology and Information Literacy, and a Certificate in International School Leadership from the Principal’s Training Center.

Beth lives in Potsdam with her family. We warmly welcome her to this new role and look forward to an exciting new chapter for BBIS.
