CELEBRATING 25 YEARS ON THE SEEBERG

This September, BBIS is celebrating 25 years on the Seeberg Campus in Kleinmachnow. Since opening our first school building here in 2001, the Seeberg has become a place where generations of students from around the world have come together to learn, build friendships and grow.

To mark this special milestone, our school community has come together for two celebrations, reflecting on our shared history and looking ahead to the future.

A JOURNEY THROUGH 25 YEARS OF BBIS

On 2 September, our school community gathered for a special anniversary assembly led by our Director, Beth Dressler, and Secondary School students.

Together, we took a journey through time, exploring how BBIS and our campus have changed over the past 25 years. Students and staff discovered interesting facts about our school's history, revisited memorable moments and reflected on the experiences that have shaped our community.

The assembly was an opportunity to look back and celebrate the many students, families and colleagues who have been part of BBIS over the years.

FIVE TREES FOR 25 YEARS ON THE SEEBERG

Our anniversary celebrations continued on 15 September with a special tree planting ceremony on campus.

Students, staff, alumni, school leadership and members of the BBIS Foundation and Supervisory Board came together to plant five new trees, each representing five years of BBIS on the Seeberg. We were also pleased to welcome Kleinmachnow's Mayor, Bodo Krause, who joined us for the occasion.

Each tree has been given a name that reflects an important part of our school community: Community, Learning, Belonging, Courage and Hope.

As the trees grow, they will serve as a lasting reminder of our first 25 years on the Seeberg and the values we hope to continue nurturing for generations to come.

LOOKING AHEAD TO THE NEXT CHAPTER

For 25 years, the Seeberg Campus has been home to our international school community. It is where students have discovered new interests, formed friendships and shared experiences that stay with them long after they leave BBIS.

This anniversary is an opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to our school's journey, as well as the municipality of Kleinmachnow for its longstanding support and partnership.

We look forward to continuing to grow together and creating many more memories on the Seeberg Campus in the years ahead.
