My role at BBIS:

Head of Boarding

When did you join BBIS?

January 2021

What is your background?

A native of the North West of England, I have been working with young people in residential summer camps, summer schools and boarding schools for over 20 years. I have experience in mental health, international student support and I have lived in three other countries.

What inspires you in your professional role?

I am inspired by my colleagues and the students every day to support them in reaching their own personal goals.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about creating a home environment where everyone feels valued, respected and is in a position to do their best and make the most of the wonderful opportunities on offer here at BBIS.

What makes BBIS special?

I love the international and diverse community, from both staff and students, and how the campus is vast and spacious, but also feels cozy and one which we can all share together.
