Helping our Grade 11 and 12 students reach their fullest potential.
The final years of school bring unique and exciting challenges - from managing coursework to preparing for final examinations. The BBIS Academic Coaching for Everybody (ACE) provides tailored academic coaching and support to help our Grade 11 and 12 students succeed in their chosen study pathways.
Our ACE coaches collaborate closely with classroom teachers to understand each student’s needs and aspirations, offering personalised guidance that fosters growth, confidence, and independence.
Through ACE, students receive support with:
- Planning, structuring, and editing assessments
- Developing academic writing skills
- Understanding course content
- Preparing for tests and exams
- Creating effective study schedules
- Maintaining concentration and motivation
Group workshops are held regularly to develop skills in academic writing, study strategies, exam preparation, and assessment planning.
In addition, ACE provides a range of academic support materials to encourage independent learning. While some students are referred by teachers or parents, many choose to approach our academic coaches proactively.
