Kate Mancarella

Primary School Principal

Kate Mancarella joined BBIS in August 2025, bringing extensive experience from schools in Australia and China. She holds a Bachelor of Primary Education, a Diploma in Teaching English as an Additional Language, and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Kate has held leadership roles within the IB Primary Years Programme, including PYP Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and Principal. She is an IB PYP workshop leader and consultant, supporting schools to strengthen inclusive, inquiry-driven practice. Kate is passionate about inclusive, compassionate, and innovative education, with a strong focus on student wellbeing and high-quality teaching and learning.
