The Student Ambassadors aim to foster a sense of belonging amongst new students and the wider BBIS student community by promoting supportive partnerships between new and longer term members of the student body. By training a diverse group of caring and open-minded volunteers in leadership and communication skills then partnering them with new students as they arrive, the Student Ambassadors Programme hopes to build a stronger feeling of community cohesion and responsibility among students.
In turn, arriving students will feel more quickly integrated into their new school and connected with their new classmates. The ideal student ambassador is a warm, friendly, caring person who enjoys meeting and helping new people. An Ambassador is good at talking and listening to people and is keen to share their inside knowledge with others.
For further information, or if you wish to become a Student Ambassadors, please contact either Ms. Kamphausen or Mr. Gregory in the School Counselling Team.
