Berlin International Music Project (BIMP) 2026

14 and 15 February 2026 at BBIS

The Berlin International Music Project (BIMP) brings students, teachers, and families together through the joy of music-making. Since 2010, this unique weekend has been a celebration of international friendship, creativity, and collaboration - showing how powerful music can be in connecting people across cultures.

In February 2026, BBIS is proud to once again host BIMP and welcome students from Berlin, Brandenburg, and beyond for two days of shared rehearsals, new friendships, and unforgettable performances.

The BIMP Gala Concert is the culmination of the weekend - a vibrant showcase where every ensemble, from choirs to orchestras, bands to samba drummers, joins together on stage. Families, friends, and the wider community are invited to witness the energy, pride, and joy that comes from hundreds of young people performing side by side.

It’s not just a concert. It’s a moment of connection, collaboration, and celebration - the true spirit of BIMP.

What is BIMP?

The Berlin International Music Project (BIMP) was founded in 2010 with a simple but powerful goal: to create a community weekend of music-making, culminating in a high-quality Gala Concert. Over the years, it has become a joyful tradition that unites schools in a spirit of collaboration and creativity.

Why participate?

BIMP is more than just a concert. It’s an intensive and fun music-making experience where students connect with singers, instrumentalists, and composers from around the world. The friendships formed, the pride of performance, and the shared joy of music make this project truly unforgettable.
