RAISING CHILDREN IN A GENERATIVE AI WORLD

This hands-on session is designed to cut through the hype and focus on what truly matters for families. Together, we will explore how generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, are already influencing learning and everyday life-and what this means for children as they grow.

During the workshop, you will:

  • Gain a clear understanding of how generative AI is being used by students

  • Learn how to use AI tools yourself in practical, accessible ways

  • Explore how AI can support you in your role as a parent

  • Develop strategies to help your children build discernment, responsibility, and confidence in an AI-driven world

  • The session will be interactive and immediately applicable. If you have one, please bring a laptop so you can actively participate.

About the speaker

Jeff Utecht is an internationally recognised educator and consultant with more than two decades of experience working with international schools across Asia, the Middle East, and North America. A leading voice in the responsible use of generative AI in education, Jeff has advised school leaders, teachers, school boards, and education departments on how to integrate AI in ways that strengthen learning while protecting student wellbeing. Known for his clear, practical approach, Jeff supports parents and educators in preparing children for a future shaped by global learning and emerging technologies.
