Be part of BIMP 2026

We are delighted to announce that the Berlin International Music Project (BIMP) is returning to BBIS Berlin Brandenburg International School on 14 and 15 February 2026. Once again, we will welcome talented young musicians from Berlin, Brandenburg and beyond for two days of rehearsal, friendship, and shared creativity. The event will culminate in a vibrant Gala Concert, a joyful celebration of music, collaboration and community.

What is BIMP?

Founded in 2010, BIMP has grown from a small collaboration of local schools to a much-loved annual tradition that brings together students, teachers and families from all over Europe. It’s a weekend dedicated not only to music-making, but also to intercultural exchange, teamwork, and shared joy.

Why Participate?

  • Connect with singers and instrumentalists from different international schools - make new friends and connect with like-minded musicians.
  • Learn from experienced conductors and music educators - deepen your skills and broaden your musical horizons.
  • Take part in an inspiring, intensive music-making experience culminating in a public Gala Concert.

2026 Ensembles – Who Can Join?

Participants may register for one or more ensembles:

  • Senior Choir (Grade 6 - Adults)
  • Senior Orchestra (Grade 6 - Adults)
  • Pop/Rock Band (Grade 6 - Adults)
  • BBIS Junior Choir (Grades 3 - 5)

Key Dates & Important Info

  • BIMP Weekend: 14 and 15 February (all groups) 2026 - followed by the Gala Concert on Sunday, 15 February at 3 pm.
  • Start-up Rehearsals (Secondary Orchestra & Choir): beginning 13 December 2025, with additional rehearsals on 17, 24 and 31 January 2026.
  • Participation Fee: 60 EUR per student.
  • Payment & Registration: Payment via Stripe, then registration via the online form.
  • Registration Deadline: 2 February 2026.
